Research project “DEEP-Opt” has started

In the DEEP-Opt joint project, funded by the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety, partners from science and industry are conducting joint research into the sustainable electronics production of the future. The consortium consists of the research institutes Chair of Manufacturing Automation and Production Systems (FAPS) at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg, the Chair of Polymeric Materials at the University of Bayreuth, Neue Materialien Bayreuth, the Institute of Organic Chemistry at Clausthal University of Technology and the industrial companies SEHO Systems, Peters Research, MTM Ruhrzinn, KSG, BSH Hausgeräte and MPM Environment Intelligence. The joint project is supported by the associated partners Isola, Airbus and Bosch.
