Kick-off for the research project EdgeAI4DC

On May 14, 2025, the official kick-off for the EdgeAI4DC research project took place at the FAPS Chair. In addition to discussing technical and organizational topics, the existing DC demonstrator of the chair was examined on site together with our project partners. This represents a central technical basis and serves as a starting point for further project work.

The EdgeAI4DC research project was officially launched on April 1, 2025. The aim of the three-year project is to realize the energy-optimized operation of grid participants through an innovative grid architecture in combination with edge AI-based energy management.
