On Monday, March 31, 2025, FAU founded the 6G-Valley in cooperation with Fraunhofer IIS and LZE e. V. and celebrated the future cooperation in a grand opening.

ESI member Prof. Dr.-Ing. Norman Franchi (holder of the Chair of Intelligent Technical Electronics and Systems) is the initiator and coordinator of the 6G-Valley. It builds on the experience gained from the 6G Platform Germany, the Open6GHub and various 6G industry projects.
