ESI Application Center

“ESI Application Center” is the name of a joint research project of the Fraunhofer Institute for Integrated Circuits (IIS) and the FAU Research Center Embedded Systems Initiative (FAU ESI) of the Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg, which was funded by the Bavarian State Ministry of Economic Affairs from 2009 to 2019 with the aim of bringing together research activities on embedded systems in the European Metropolitan Region Nuremberg (EMN) and thus creating a unique interface between industry and research.

 

Customized order developments for various applications

In research and development projects with industry, hardware and software developments were carried out in the areas of automotive sensor technology, automation, fitness and sport, among others, with services ranging from consulting on technological issues and conducting scientific studies to complete product developments.

Networking

The Embedded Talk series was also created as part of the project and will be continued, offering you insights into our research and networking opportunities once or twice a year.
