In two rounds, inveneer was first able to impress with its business plan and then with its pitch in front of a twenty-member jury!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The founding team consisting of Dr.-Ing. Johanna Gei\u00df, Dr.-Ing. Erik Sippel, Patrick Gr\u00f6schel and Dr.-Ing. Markus Hehn is working on an indoor positioning system for the precise localization of smartphones and other Bluetooth-enabled devices inside buildings. The concept is based on a new positioning algorithm for the precise evaluation of directional information, which was developed at the LHFT. Navigation in the supermarket to the product you are looking for or to a point of interest at a trade fair should soon be as natural as out on the street. Since November, inveneer has been funded by an EXIST research transfer program.
