Ece Karadag, research assistant at the Chair of Manufacturing Automation and Production Systems (FAPS) headed by ESI member Prof. Dr.-Ing. Jörg Franke, has been nominated for the prestigious Schnieder Prize for Young Women in Science 2026.

Following the completion of her successful master’s thesis, Ece Karadag was nominated for the award by the FAPS Department. During the selection process, the jury particularly commended her outstanding achievements. In addition, Ms. Karadag was publicly nominated by acatech—the German Academy of Science and Engineering—and honored for her academic achievements and her social engagement. She also received individual mentoring from acatech.
