On the occasion of the prostep ivip Symposium at Kap Europa, Frankfurt am Main (April 14–15, 2026), Lars Ullrich, senior researcher at the Chair of Automatic Control, was awarded the prostep ivip Scientific Award for his doctoral thesis “Towards Intelligent, Safe, and Scalable Autonomy: A Study Driven by Trajectory Planning for Automated Vehicles.” 
The award was presented within the Scientific Track at the symposium by prostep ivip e.V..
