ESI member Prof. Jörg Franke was elected as a member of expert group 6 – Medical Technology and Systems Engineering in subgroup 6.2 Artificial Intelligence and Automation Technology for the field of science in the expert elections for the members of the expert groups of the Industrial Collective Research (IGF). The IGF’s high-quality and independent reviewers are an important factor in the high recognition of the IGF in politics and industry.
The German Aerospace Center (DLR) appoints Prof. Franke on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection (BMWK) for the term of office from 01.01.2025 to 31.12.2027.
